StageOne

Terms of Service

Last updated June 3, 2026

These terms govern your use of StageOne, a platform for organising shooting-sport matches, series, and results. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

If you use StageOne on behalf of a club or federation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these terms.

The service

StageOne lets shooters register for matches and view results, and lets clubs and federations run matches and series, score events, manage members, and issue invoices. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Eligibility and your account

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

Administrative roles (match director, club administrator, federation administrator) require two-factor authentication.

If you are below the age at which you can agree to online services on your own under Norwegian law, a parent or guardian must accept these terms and manage your account.

Roles and responsibilities

Clubs and federations are responsible for the accuracy of the matches, series, members, classifications, and results they manage, and for handling members' personal data lawfully within their organisation.

Match directors are responsible for the conduct and results of the events they run on the platform.

Acceptable use

You agree to use StageOne lawfully and responsibly. We may suspend or remove content or accounts that breach these terms. In particular, you must not:

  • use the service in any unlawful way;
  • upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content;
  • attempt to access data you are not authorised to see;
  • disrupt or overload the service;
  • scrape or harvest data beyond ordinary use.

Fees and payments

Match registration fees and membership fees are set by the organising club or federation and collected through Stripe; funds are paid to the organising or issuing organisation's connected account.

StageOne may charge organisations platform fees (for example an annual fee, and a percentage of match payments). Applicable fees are shown before you commit to them.

You are responsible for any taxes that apply to you. Organisations are responsible for the correctness of the fees they set.

Refunds and cancellations

Refunds for match registrations follow the cancellation policy set by the organiser for that match (for example flexible, moderate, or strict). The applicable policy and any deadlines are shown at registration.

Where a match is cancelled by the organiser, refunds are handled according to that match's policy and the platform's refund rules.

Content and data

You and your organisation retain responsibility for the content you submit. You grant StageOne the rights needed to host, process, and display that content in order to operate the service.

Competition results are records of events and may be retained and published as part of the service.

Availability

We aim to keep StageOne available and reliable, but we provide the service "as is" and do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance and may limit or suspend the service where necessary.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, StageOne is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Norwegian law, StageOne is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or loss of data arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or where required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as accounting retention and liability) will continue to apply.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be brought before the Follo District Court (Follo og Nordre Østfold tingrett) as legal venue.
